At the helm of Powergas, Sumeet Singh has been instrumental in transforming the company into a dominant force in virtual pipeline gas delivery and decentralized energy access across Nigeria. Under his visionary leadership, Powergas has not only processed over 17 billion standard cubic feet (SCF) of natural gas but also delivered over 500 million standard cubic metres (SCM) through a fleet of more than 250 tube skids—solidifying its role as the undisputed market leader in the production and distribution of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
In the last few years alone, Powergas has recorded over 100% growth in its compression capacity, a testament to its sustained investments in infrastructure and technology. The company has also expanded its footprint in the NGV segment, developing dedicated refueling stations to support Nigeria’s transition toward cleaner transport solutions. With four operational mother stations strategically located across Lagos, Delta, Rivers, and Ondo States, Powergas is set to commission its fifth mother station in Ajaokuta this year— further deepening its national reach and enhancing redundancy across supply corridors.
